Pastor Jason Baker comes to us from Central Iowa with his wife Jeanée and three teen-aged children, Karis, Daniel, and Kiara.

Pastor Baker felt God's call in his life to full-time ministry in 2008. In the spring of 2009, he enrolled in Faith Baptist Bible College, where he started his Associate degree in Missions. He has earned his Associate Degree in Missions from FBBC in Ankeny, IA and is working on his Bachelor Degree in Ministry from Clarks Summit University and his Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary, both in Clarks Summit, PA.

Pastor Jason retired from Paramedic work in 2016 after 25 years of working in EMS. He also served in the US Marine Corps infantry and the US Army Medical Corps as a combat medic and Nurse.

In September 2016, he received a call from Galena Baptist Church to candidate for pastor. On November 20, 2016, Galena Baptist Church called Pastor Baker to be their pastor. He and his family moved here the following Sunday and he began his ministry here the first Sunday of December 2016.
